Carrie and Jens Hillen

Co-Presidents
Carrie and Jens Hillen live in Orinda, California, with their two young children, and are lucky to have their extended families on both sides also live in the area. Both Carrie and Jens spent their early careers in large, national client service companies. Carrie worked for Price Waterhouse (prior to their merger with Coopers & Lybrand), PHB Hagler Bailly, Charles Schwab, and later worked with Charles River Associates (now CRA International). Jens started with Oracle, worked at the law firm of Latham & Watkins after law school and most recently helped run FlashPoint Technology, a small venture-backed company based in the Northeast.
Carrie and Jens first learned of Town & Country when they started looking for their children's first Nanny. When the opportunity arose to become owners, they jumped at the chance to assist busy Bay Area families with the vital services that Town & Country offers. With both young children, as well as aging grandparents, the Hillens understand first-hand the importance of top-notch in-home care, and the challenges that families can face in trying to find just the right person. Carrie and Jens also both have experience working at and running small, entrepreneurial companies, and are excited about running this dynamic business that does so much for Bay Area families.
Carrie holds a BA from UCLA and an MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley. Jens holds an engineering degree from UC Berkeley, and received his law degree from USC. |
