What is a Domestic Couple?
A Domestic Couple is made up of two individuals (usually married) who work together as a team providing daily domestic and personal service for a household. Any combination of service is possible, based on the employer’s property and service needs. Some combinations we see most frequently are Caretaker and Housekeeper, House Manager and Cook, Nanny and Houseman, Personal Assistant and Chef. Domestic Couple positions are almost always Live-in positions.

Domestic Couple positions can include household management, cooking, housekeeping, caretaking, gardening, Nanny and Personal Assistant responsibilities. The couple’s responsibilities vary greatly dependent on the different positions they are providing.

What is the salary for a Domestic Couple?
The Domestic Couple’s salary and benefits vary dependent on the different duties, and the levels of professionalism and service required. Salaries range from $65,000 to $100,00 plus benefits for the couple. The benefits for full-time Domestic Couple may include paid sick days, paid holidays and two weeks paid vacation. Other benefits may encompass medical insurance and reimbursement for automobile expenses.
