What is a Driver?
A Driver or Chauffeur is typically responsible for all aspects of driving the client and family to and from daily activities and events. The Driver also handles all care, operation and maintenance of the client’s vehicles. A driver may have formal training as a chauffeur and usually has prior experience as a professional Driver.

What are the responsibilities of a Driver?
Duties typically include driving family members and guests, running errands, scheduling maintenance of autos, maintaining appearance of the autos. A driver’s schedule requires a great deal of flexibility. In some cases, they may also take on special projects for the household.

What is the salary for a Driver?
The salary for a Driver is usually based on two factors: the amount of experience the candidate brings to the position and the duties included in the job description. Full-time Drivers typically earn between $45,000 - $70,000 per year, plus benefits. The benefits for full-time candidates may include paid sick days, paid holidays and two weeks paid vacation. Other benefits may encompass medical insurance and reimbursement for automobile expenses.
