Meet Erin

ErinRussellHere at Town + Country we get so excited about the Nannies we have the privilege to work with and represent. This is the start of what we hope will be a regular feature profiling one of our star candidates. Our hope is to show off some of our stars a bit, and also give you some insights about what we do and why we do it.

Today, we’d like to introduce Erin. Erin has been caring for children professionally since 2007. She recently worked as a volunteer counseling and teaching children in Zambia, Africa. Erin is very polished and professional. She also stays active by hiking, biking, and swimming.

Get to know Erin:

What is your favorite quote?

Other than food & water, what 3 items would you take with you to a deserted island?
I would take a giant book containing information about all the island’s wildlife and plants, a radio to keep me entertained with music variety, and a toothbrush so I could maintain at least some kind of hygiene!

What is the last book you read?
The last book I read was called “Quirk” by Hannah Holmes, which explores peculiar personality traits through modern brain science.

What is your favorite day of the year? Why?
My favorite day of the year is my birthday, because I love getting to hear from all my friends and family on the same day!

If you won the lottery, what would you do with the money?
First, I’d save most of my money for future expenditures, such as retirement and a college fund for my future children.

Second, I would plan the most enjoyable and entertaining excursion week my friends and family could ask for, and treat each person to cash or a special gift at the end.

Third, I would donate money to the wonderful animal shelter where I adopted my beloved dog Daisy.

And finally, I would go on a backpacking adventure around South America!

What is your favorite outdoor activity?
My favorite outdoor activity is hiking, because nothing beats the fresh air, beautiful scenery, and refreshing exercise!
