Here are some Natural Cleaning Solutions

In our most recent Housekeeper training seminar on “The Keys to Laundry Success,” Damaris Christopher taught us about several natural cleaning products and solutions.

Just in case you were unable to attend, here are four of the great tips we learned about to get started with natural cleaning:

  1. A great Stain Remover can be made by mixing baking soda, hydrogen peroxide & hot water (soak mixture overnight). Have some tough grass or mud stains this softball season? This is your go to home remedy!
  2. A great “All Purpose Cleaner” is 1 tablespoon of a pH neutral liquid dish soap (Palmolive, for example) in a half-gallon of water. Combine in a spray bottle and shake before using.
  3. If you have stubborn grease that won’t come off, try a bit of baking soda and a little water on a sponge or rag. It is abrasive enough to remove grease but it won’t damage the surface.
  4. For dusting, wash your hands and dry them on a clean dusting cloth. This will give the cloth the perfect amount of moisture for dusting.

Let us know how these tips work for you!
