How are Town + Country Candidates vetted for hotel and event guests?

Town + Country treats the safety and well-being of children with utmost seriousness, which is why we implement an extensive 8-point vetting system for all our Candidates. This meticulous process begins with a comprehensive background check to ensure reliability and integrity. We then verify each Candidate’s childcare experience and qualifications by conducting detailed reference checks, scrutinizing their online presence for professionalism, assessing their character, and confirming their educational credentials. Additionally, every Candidate is required to maintain an active CPR certification and possess a clean driving record. This ensures they are fully equipped to provide safe, reliable transportation if needed by hotel guests. Our thorough vetting procedure guarantees that only the most qualified and dependable childcare providers are at your service, ensuring peace of mind for your guests.

How do guests book temporary childcare for their hotel stay?

Guests can book a temporary childcare provider by contacting the hotel concierge, who will liaise with Town + Country to arrange the service. We recommend booking as early as possible to ensure availability and to allow us to tailor our services to meet the specific needs and preferences of each family.

How do event guests book a temporary childcare provider for their hotel event?

For hotel events requiring childcare services, event organizers or guests can contact us directly or through the hotel’s event planning team. We will work closely with the event planners to understand the event scope, number of children, age groups, and any special requirements to provide a customized childcare solution that integrates seamlessly with the event. What are the agency booking fees for hotel guest bookings?

Booking Fee: $100 for each group of bookings which must be booked at the same time

Referral Fee:

  • $20 hourly fee in addition to Candidates agreed-upon rate for bookings that are made with more than 24 hours’ notice. 
  • $25 hourly fee in addition to Candidates agreed upon rate for bookings that are made with less than 24-hours’ notice.
  • Minimum Booking Time: 4-hours

*If your hotel guest already has a Town + Country Membership, we offer special pricing, which includes a waived booking fee.

What are the agency booking fees for event guest bookings?

  • Booking Fee: $250 for each event
  • Referral Fee: 35% of Total Gross Compensation or $100/day, whichever is greater
  • Minimum Booking Time: 6-hours

Our commitment to accommodating the diverse needs of our clients enables us to consider requests from hotels and events situated in various locales, beyond our primary service areas. How should hotel guest and event guests pay their booked childcare provider?

Payment for services rendered by our childcare providers should be made directly by the hotel guests or event guests who utilize our childcare services. We facilitate a smooth and transparent payment process designed to ensure convenience for both our clients and our childcare professionals.

Upon confirmation of your booking, we will provide detailed instructions on the preferred payment method(s) accepted by your assigned childcare provider. These methods typically include cash, or electronic payment platforms, depending on the provider’s preference.
