Repeat Caregiver Requests

If a parent has a really great experience working with you, they may request to work with you again. In these situations, a parent may list you are a “preferred caregiver” which tells us to reach out to you via text and email before opening it up to anyone else. If we do not hear back from you, we then open it up to the rest of our caregivers. That said, if you receive a text about a job where you’re listed as the preferred caregiver, please response ASAP.

If a family is requesting you, that’s amazing! It means you did a great job.

What Do I Do If A Family Requests Care Outside of T+C?

In cases where you form great rapport with families, parents may reach out to you directly about your availability. It is important that you do not disclose it to them directly. Instead, let them know that you’d love to work with them again and to request the given date/time through the app per our policy. This ensures that we provide everyone with the best possible experience, and allow you to focus on care, while we handle all the backend logistics.

Also note: all future bookings need to be done through Town + Country or the Care@Work program. If a family asks you for work outside of our agency, please direct them back to us. Working outside of the agency will jeapordize your and the families relationship with T+C.
