Mandated Reporting

All our Caregivers are mandated reporters. This means you hold a professional position that requires you to report to the appropriate state agency in cases of abuse that you have reasonable cause to suspect. We ask that in these circumstances, you also inform our team.

Safety Concerns to Look Out For: 

• The home seems unsafe for you and the children
• The house seems dirty and there is evidence of broken glass or rodents
• There are aggressive animals in the home
• Other adults are in the home aside from parents of guardians that you were not made aware of
• You find drugs or drug paraphernalia
• There are weapons that are not locked up
• A parent or guardian is yelling or escalating
• You see signs of abuse.

Additional Concerns on the Job

• If there is an emergency, always contact the parents and 911 as needed. The Temp team should also be alerted as soon as possible, after the child is safe.
